It does. If you’re not using mouthwash, you should be!

Why do you need to use mouthwash if you brush twice a day and floss regularly? Mouthwash is a liquid. Liquids can get reach places in your mouth, particularly in between your teeth, that brushing alone cannot. Areas that can be reached using dental floss receive even more benefit when mouthwash is added to the equation for the same reason: it’s a liquid and get get into those tiny little spaces that even dental floss may miss.

Using mouthwash is only an extra sixty seconds to the routine before bedtime. When you think about all of the conditions that mouthwash helps to prevent, it’s easy to see that those sixty seconds are well worth it!
